At present, medical research and routine research are very important for improving the quality of care and services. Research enables medical personnel to discover new knowledge, develop medical innovations and technologies, and solve public health problems effectively. In addition, research is also important for career advancement (promotion and position request) of medical personnel. Conducting quality research requires knowledge and skills in statistics and data analysis, which are important tools for designing research, collecting data, analyzing and interpreting data, and presenting research results accurately and reliably. However, most medical personnel often have a lot of routine work, resulting in limited time and opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in statistics and data analysis for research. In addition, there are not many training courses or programs in statistics and data analysis for medical personnel, causing many medical personnel to lack confidence and expertise in applying statistics and data analysis in their own research. Therefore, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Silpakorn University, deems it appropriate to organize a workshop on statistics and data analysis for routine research in medicine and public health, targeting pharmacists and medical personnel to enhance knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary for planning, conducting, and reporting quality research results. This project will help pharmacists and medical personnel to develop research from their routine work correctly according to research methods. They can use the research results to improve service quality, solve health problems, and improve professional standards, which will ultimately lead to improving the quality of life and health of the people.
