Program Master of Pharmacy Program in Social and Administrative Pharmacy
Philosophy Developing pharmacists in various field contributes to an improvement for pharmacy profession. By using management tools, research, technology and innnvoation, this will enhance pharmaceutical development effectively and result in a good health system for Thai society.
Objective
  • 1) To produce graduates who have the knowledge and capability in applying the knowledge in Social and Administrative Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical profession
  • 2) To produce graduates who have an analytical skill, they are able to analyse the problem, develop the plan of action which lead to problem-solving and enhance the development of health system.
  • 3) To produce graduates who is capable to apply research process in social and administive pharmacy for solving public health problems.




Qualifications of Applicants


  • 1) For Plan A Type A 1

    • 1) Completed a Bachelor’s of pharmacy
      2) Have a cumulative of grade point average (GPA) not less than 2.75 or have an experience in pharmacy profession not less than 1 year
      3) Comply with all the qualifications specified in the regulation of Silpakorn University on graduate studies in B.C.2550 and/or with subsequent changes
      4) Have other qualifications which will be justified by Faculty committees





Course structure


1) For Plan A, type A2

Core subjects 13 Credits
Elective subjects not less than 12 Credits
Thesis (equals to) 12 Credits
Total credits in the program not less than 37 Credits

2) Plan B

Core subjects 13 Credits
Elective subjects not less than 18 Credits
Independent study (equivalent) 6 Credits
Total number of credits for the course is not less than 37 Credits and comprehensive examination




Teaching Management


Teaching and Learning activities Teaching and Learning activities are conducted as a module Teaching and learning activities are held on an official date and time. For the special program, teaching and learning activities will be held during weekend.
