The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology is a department in the Faculty of Pharmacy. The policy of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology is to produce graduates with all-round knowledge, have good educational activities, and have morals and professional conduct including experience in pharmaceutical technology. This department has an infrastructure consisting of laboratories with advanced equipment, good facilities, libraries, classrooms, seminar rooms, etc. The department has a variety of educational programs. The department provides basic knowledge in the necessary theories and practices regarding pharmaceutical forms, pharmaceutical product evaluation, and the development of raw materials for pharmaceutical applications. Knowledge of pharmaceutical technology consists of studies on the chemistry, physics, properties of substances and compounds used in pharmaceutical development, and knowledge of quality control of such substances and different forms of pharmaceutical products in accordance with the requirements of the pharmacopoeia and international regulations, including the basics for quality assurance and related administration, and also science in education about drug delivery or drug delivery system to the target, and the development of an efficient drug delivery system with minimal side effects. It is expected that the students who graduate will have the ability to practice or work in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This department also participates in teaching in other programs of the school as well as being involved in producing master and doctoral students under the curriculum that provides basic knowledge and high technology for the development of bioactive ingredients, cosmetics, production processes and pharmaceutical engineering
Department of Pharmaceutical Technology is responsible for teaching and learning in all subjects related to pharmaceutical production, from the laboratory level to the industrial level, which covers quality assurance and production in the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics and products prepared from herbs and other related fields
